About Othello Info

Othello Info is a site about othello in Poland and around the world — a place where tournament results, player profiles, the rating list, championship history and news from the scene come together. Alongside this record you will find guides, rules for beginners and daily puzzles, because the site is meant for those who have played for years as much as for those placing their very first disc.

Othello Info does not start from scratch, though. It continues othello.pl — the site that for years was the home of the Polish scene and had been inactive since 2016. Ever since, Poland has lacked a place to check results, read about tournaments and find other players. Othello Info is meant to fill that gap.

This continuity matters, because the site is also an expression of respect for the people who actively supported othello in Poland in years past — organising tournaments, running websites, recording results and teaching new players. In recognition of their effort, as much as possible has been restored and preserved: past tournaments, results, championship history and even a copy of othello.pl itself.
